Don and Joanne Russell

It was a long and often-frustrating struggle for Don and Joanne to become farmers after university. Their hard work paid off and today they are “living out their dream” on their dairy farm in Ottawa Valley with their four children.

Don and Joanne’s spirit and unwavering determination were recognized when they won the Ontario Outstanding Young Farmer competition in 2006.
