Welcome to Faces of Farming. This site is designed to introduce you to some of Ontario, Canada’s 40,000 farm families – people who work hard, 365 days per year, to put food on our table.
Whether they’re producing beef, buffalo, chickens, corn, sheep, soybeans, Christmas trees, cranberries, flowers, fish, fruit, asparagus, milk or much, much more, Ontario’s farmers produce safe, nutritious food in an ethical and environmentally-sustainable manner.
Each and every one of them feels a strong commitment to this way of life. Most of their families have farmed their land for generations – and they wouldn’t trade their lifestyles for anything.
